High school student from Nagoya stays in LA through LANSCA exchange program

From July 22nd to August 5th, four high school students, Naru Aoyama, Kenzo Inafuku, Chiho Kato, and Luna Nakayasu from Nagoya spent fulfilling days in Los Angeles through the high school exchange program sponsored by LANSCA.

After arriving at Los Angeles International Airport on the 22nd, they stayed with their host families and visited LA City Hall, Hollywood, an LA Dodgers game, Downtown, Santa Monica, Universal Studios, UCLA and the Getty Museum. And also they participated in the summer programs at Los Angeles High School of the Arts and the Vaughn International Studies Academy.

This was the first time in six years that high school students were dispatched from Nagoya since 2018, before the coronavirus pandemic. In the summer of 2025, high school students from Los Angeles will be staying in Nagoya as exchange students.
